Choosing the right machine
What is a tracked remote-controlled lawn mower used for?
A tracked remote-controlled mower cuts vegetation on ground where a walk-behind or ride-on mower is unsafe or impractical: steep banks, roadside verges, orchard floors, drainage ditches, golf-course rough and large estate lawns. The operator stands on level ground and drives the machine by radio control, so nobody enters the blade zone or the fall line. TorqMax builds tracked mowers from 400 mm to 900 mm cutting width, with gasoline and diesel engine options.
What is the difference between a mini dump truck and a skid steer loader?
A mini dump truck carries and tips loose material — soil, sand, gravel, concrete, crops — and is chosen for hauling over distance on soft or narrow ground. A skid steer loader lifts and loads with front-mounted attachments and is chosen for digging, levelling and moving material over short distances. Many buyers run both: the loader fills, the dumper hauls. TorqMax builds tracked mini dump trucks from 500 kg to 1,000 kg payload and skid steer loaders in 330 kg and 450 kg classes.
How do I choose between a tracked and a wheeled machine?
Tracks spread weight over a larger area, so they grip on wet grass, mud, sand and slopes without rutting the surface — the right choice for soft ground, gradients and turf you want to protect. Wheels are simpler, cheaper to run and faster on firm, flat ground. For construction and landscaping work on unprepared ground, tracked machines are the safer default.
What cutting width do I need for a remote-controlled mower?
Match width to access, not just area. A 400 mm deck fits through garden gates and between trees; 550 mm suits domestic and small commercial work; 700–800 mm is the contractor sweet spot for verge and orchard work; 900 mm is for municipalities and large estates where volume matters more than manoeuvrability. Wider decks also need more engine power to keep cutting speed up in tall grass.
Can a remote-controlled mower work on slopes?
Yes — that is the main reason buyers choose one. Radio control removes the operator from the slope, so the machine can work gradients that would be dangerous to mow on foot. In practice, above roughly 25 degrees remote operation is the safe method, and tracked machines hold traction well beyond that. Always confirm the slope rating for the specific model with your sales contact.
Which engines do TorqMax machines use?
Our remote-controlled mowers and brush cutters use LONCIN engines — for example the 224 cc, 452 cc, 608 cc and 764 cc gasoline units, plus diesel options. LONCIN is a widely serviced engine family, which matters when you need parts in a market far from the factory. Tricycles use single-cylinder gasoline engines in the 150–350 cc range.

What models of remote-controlled lawn mower does TorqMax build?
Seven tracked remote-controlled models: SDL224 (400 mm), SDL224-55A (550 mm), SDL452-70B (700 mm), SDL452-80C (800 mm), SDL608-80B (800 mm), SDL764-90A (900 mm) and SDL195-80B (800 mm, diesel). Engine sizes run from 224 cc to 764 cc, with the SDL764-90A at the top of the range.
What is the SDL764-90A?
The SDL764-90A is our 900 mm tracked remote-controlled mower — the widest deck in the range. It runs a 764 cc LONCIN hybrid electric-gasoline engine producing 19 kW, uses a 48 V + 12 V battery system alongside gasoline, has a 300 m remote range and is rated for slopes up to 70 degrees. It measures 1560 × 1450 × 700 mm and is built for heavy vegetation, bank work and land reclamation.
Is a remote-controlled mower worth it compared with a ride-on mower?
They solve different problems. A ride-on mower is faster on open, flat, safe ground. A remote-controlled tracked mower is the only practical option on steep banks, wet ground and rough terrain — and it removes the operator from roll-over and blade-contact risk, which is what wins municipal and contractor tenders.
Mini dump trucks and concrete mixers
How much weight can a tracked mini dump truck carry?
TorqMax builds tracked mini dump trucks in 500 kg and 1,000 kg payload classes: the SDL500 (hydraulic dump), SDL500L (1.4 m lift dump), SDL500R (180-degree rotary dump) and SDL1000L (1,000 kg, 1.4 m lift). The lift and rotary versions exist because tipping straight down is not always possible on a narrow site.
What is the difference between a lift dump and a rotary dump truck?
A lift dump truck raises its skip to discharge into a higher container, a truck bed or a skip — useful when you cannot tip at ground level. A rotary dump truck swings its skip around to discharge to the side, front or rear, which is what you need when there is no room to reverse or tip behind the machine.
What size concrete mixer do I need?
Compact tracked concrete mixers are chosen for job sites with no vehicle access — foundations, retaining walls, fence posts and repair work. TorqMax builds tracked mixers in 200 L, 360 L and 500 L capacities. Match drum size to the number of pours per day and to how far the machine has to travel with a full drum; a full drum is heavy, so smaller machines travelling more often usually beat one large machine on narrow, uneven sites.
Can these machines mix and pour on site?
Yes — that is the point of a tracked mixer. It carries the mixed concrete across unprepared ground to the pour point, so you avoid wheelbarrow runs over rough terrain and keep the mix workable until it is placed.
Tricycles
What types of tricycles does TorqMax supply?
We supply 114 tricycle models across five families: passenger tricycles (bench or canopy seating for shuttle, taxi and tourism work), cargo tricycles (open bodies for farm, market and distribution hauling), self-dumping cargo tricycles (tipping bodies that remove manual unloading), enclosed/canopy tricycles (weather protection for wet or dusty climates) and five-wheel tricycles (higher payload and better stability when loaded).
Why are three-wheeled cargo tricycles so common in Africa and Asia?
Because they fit the actual operating conditions: they are narrow enough for farm tracks and market lanes, cheap to buy and run, easy to repair with widely available parts, and they carry a useful payload relative to their fuel consumption. In markets where a pickup is expensive to buy and run, a cargo tricycle is the workhorse.
What is a five-wheel tricycle for?
A five-wheel tricycle adds a rear axle pair so the loaded weight is spread over four rear wheels rather than two. That raises payload capacity and stability on uneven ground and reduces the risk of tipping when the machine is fully loaded — the reason it is common in heavy farm and construction hauling.
What engine sizes are used in cargo tricycles?
Most TorqMax tricycles use single-cylinder gasoline engines in the 150 cc to 350 cc range, with payload ratings generally between 300 kg and 1,200 kg depending on the model and axle configuration. Larger displacement suits heavier loads, hillier ground and higher daily mileage.
Export, certification and import
Do TorqMax machines carry CE certification?
Our equipment is supplied with CE marking where applicable for European Union markets, alongside ISO-aligned quality management practices. Because the applicable directive depends on the exact machine and configuration, confirm the required documents for your market with your sales contact before ordering.
Do the engines have EPA certification for the United States?
Our machines use LONCIN gasoline engines family TCGPS.2241PC-055, covered by a U.S. EPA Certificate of Conformity valid through December 2026 and compliant with Clean Air Act emission standards — the certificate required for nonroad spark-ignition engines sold in the United States. The certificate PDF is available for download before purchase.
What documents come with a shipment?
Every export shipment is documented with a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, engine emission certificate where applicable, operation and maintenance manual, and a spare parts list. Buyers who need customs-specific paperwork tell us before the order is packed, so the documents travel with the container.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ starts from 1 unit for most machines. Mixed containers are possible, which lets a first order combine several models rather than committing to volume in one variant.
Can I visit the factory before ordering?
Yes. Buyers are welcome to visit our Shenzhen facility to see production, assembly and testing, and to inspect a machine before shipment. For buyers who cannot travel, we provide inspection photos and video of the actual unit.
How long does production and shipping take?
Standard lead time is 15–30 days from confirmed order, depending on model and configuration. Sea freight depends on the destination port and shipping schedule; we confirm transit time with your quotation so you can plan the arrival against your own selling season. Air freight is available for urgent or sample orders.
OEM, ODM and wholesale
Can you manufacture machinery under my own brand?
Yes. TorqMax supports OEM and ODM work: your specifications, your colours, your branding and your packaging. Tell us the model, the changes you want and your target market, and we confirm feasibility, pricing and tooling requirements.
What exactly can be customised?
Specifications (engine, capacity, working width, deck configuration), paint colour and livery, brand decals and nameplates, packaging and labelling, and the specification sheet or manual language supplied with the machine.
Do you supply spare parts?
Yes — we hold a parts list for every model we sell and ship spare parts worldwide. Because we use widely serviced engine families, consumables and engine components are also available locally in most markets.
How do I get a wholesale price?

What payment terms do you accept?

Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — machines carry a 12-month warranty, and we support buyers with spare parts and technical assistance after delivery. Warranty terms are confirmed in writing with your order.
